Diazepam does it cut it for you?

if you are really anxious and pop a diazepam does it do much for you?

I take max 5mg when I really need it but doesn't really cut it for me and hadn't really. I've not built up a tollerance as don't take it often enough, certainly not every day or generally more than once, if fact had no more than about 40 5mg (usually only half) since September which works out roughly at 1 every 3 days.

Just doesn't do much for me.

I found it really good if I took one or even a half just as I began to feel anxious and down.  If you wait too long it doesn't work so well.  A bit like pain medications.

Try taking 1 three times a day, 2mg tho 5 probably to much to take that often, I found it worked for me, but its not a long lasting drug anyway,

Bit sciency that one Tanya for me but I get what your saying.

Greavsie7, Id rather take the diazepam when needed to be honest as the "regular" 3 times a day whether needed or not is the road to addiction for me as I have a very addictive personality, what I will do though is perhaps try doing that for 2 days and see how it is, if it calms my constant anxiety and I feel better from it then I'll discuss it with my GP and see what is recommended given my circumstances. The current meds I'm taking inc busparone don't appear to be calming my anxiety.

That's what I meant. I didn't mean long term, just when its at its worst, I'm quite lucky I think because I haven't been Dependant on them, that said my anxiety may not be as bad as some peoples on here, I do try to persevere if I can without, I hope something works for you 😊
