I also have bladder problems because of nerve damage; i have no medical and the state hospitals in SA is terrible; so i suffer in silence.

Try voltarol gel instead which is what my surgeon prescribes because I can't take diclofenic

I agree, yes it does. It also causes stomach inflammation so it's essential to take a stomach protector with it (eg omeprazole, lansoprazole). These stomach protectors have their own nasty side effects too - vicious circle. If its just knee inflammation, I too recommend a topic anti inflammatory instead of pills - voltarol gel (voltarol is diclofenac), ibuprofen gel etc. Try also mincing fresh ginger (not the powdered or stem ginger but the fresh root) and mixing it with body lotion or hand cream and rubbing into the joint - its fantastic.
