Hi, for those who have used clob to manage LS, did using the cream make the white skin look pink again? if so how long did it take in your experience

    HI,

My skin was white as snow and yes the Dermovate did make it go pink again. It too about three months though. I applied some the other day as it was going shiny again and the colour has come back. I only use a maintenance dose now after having L S diagnosed 2016.

Hi Sue, what do you consider to be a maintenance dose of Clob ? thanks.

about one fortnightly small pea size amount. I find that that is enough. I got told to treat it like my excema cream as maintenance. I did use it alot more but things have calmed down alot. I still get burning sometimes if I do I take that as to mean I need to apply some. I keep a check on how things look.

hi...I am on "maintenance" of 2 X a week...going to see my doctor next month and will ask - now - after 3 years on steroid - IF - I can go to once a week...took my skin about 6 months to turn more pink again..

I've been using clob for about 6 months now. My patch was fully white, it's shrunk in size and is much pinker. I can still see it and it is paler than the rest of my skin, though. I'm not sure what an appropriate 'maintenance' dose is for me either. I'm doing twice a week at the moment. I've noticed if I do less than this, I get slight itching.

My skin was really white from around my clitoris, down my labia, and around my anus. I used Clobetasol every night before bed - and at my 6 month follow-up appointment - my white patches were all completely gone. 😃 So it took less than 6 months for me

I am on a maintenance dose of 3x's a week with dermovate (clob). I find that this keep everything pink, but if I drop down to 2x's a week then when I go to apply the second time I can see the white patch coming back. I dont know if this is normal. I know there are people that are able to apply every few weeks, but if I did that everything would be white.
