Did I have a seizure?

Last year I had two fainting episodes, each time I fainted three times consecutively. The first faint actually happened without me closing my eyes or knowing I d lost consciosness and then two more followed within a minute of each other. When I went to the GP, they dismissed me as "just a fainter ", and refused to test me for anything else, despite how unusual this was and the fact it had happened several times (episodes). Then it happened again, and they dismissed me....again. However, two nights ago something different happened. I was in the bathroom and I felt a very strange sensation - a warning that something was gonna happen, like a wave of nausea without the nausea and resonating in my chest. I went to my bedroom to try and make it to the bed. Everything went very hot and blurry, and the next thing I knew I was bent over the bed with my palms on it and as I was coming to consciousness my legs and back were convulsing uncontrollably but again, I didn t realise this was a bad thing until i could see again. I had tinnitus for over ten minutes after, unable to hear anything apart from at first a loud whistling and then a static sound that sounded as though it came from outside the room. I laid down which normally fixes me when I faint but I instead lay there, confused, for ten minutes, before falling deeply asleep.
Each time I fainted (for lack of explanation), I felt the heat and the warning beforehand but at the time I didn't understand what it meant. My boyfriend said I just zoned out the first time, staring off into space and not responding at all. We have no reasons for this - no drugs, they tried saying it was the heat but I then had a similar episode in the cooler months so they just said that was that, and I had eaten plenty of food.
I've finally been referred to have an EEG but I don't even know how successful it'll be because it'll be months after the potential seizure. My doctor says I wouldn't remember feeling my body convulse, however I've researched the many many types of seizures and realised the could be very wrong - people report being conscious sometimes and feeling the movements. She has umbrella'd all types of seizures and it's quite annoying.
Does this seem like a seizure? Epilepsy runs in the family.

You know ow what helps in those situations? Yoga. I've had every test under the sun and they came back clear. But a yoga mat and do some YouTube yoga tutorials, if you have the money then go to a yoga session.
What I discovered that my mind was harbouring a deep trauma that had an impact on my body physically. After two years of wasting my time and CBT I discovered that the only way is to mediate and clear your mind. Stress does a lot of harm to your body that no one understands. And before you say it's a religious thing, it's not. It's a sport and it's very relaxing. When I started doing it, all my problems went away just like that. Give it a try! You don't even have to do the complex yoga positions. Just controlling how you breathe is a step toward.
I still have panic attacks and physical symptoms but yoga helps all that. My CBT therapist told me that when I feel upset, actually cry then hold it in. It releases so much! She also told me that to just close my eyes and imagine a balloon expanding and defaulting in my stomach and to just focus on that balloon in my stomach. It helps!
I think counselling and CBT is the way forward. I have fainting episodes all the time and my tests are clear. You just need to control your mind x
Hope this helps

I don't like to second guess anybody/thing but when you have these events when you can write down what happens and when they occur.

Dear Emily,
Epilepsy runs in my family, my mother. My oldest son had a EEG at around 3 years old and the results was epilepsy in the left lop, miss firings and damage. I coped with his seizures. My daughter had her first seizure at 3 also when in hospital during the taking of blood from her arm, the nurses were very up set with me on my arrival to hospital for not imforming them first but who knows when the first seizure will happen. She later had seizures when give needles for school and blood work and after having her first baby. My other son has seizures but doesn't want to see a doctor about them. My question I put to doctors was " can it be past down from my mother in the DNA "? Didn't like that question. Something to wonder about. It is quite annoying when seeking help to be brushed aside. My doctor said one day when I tried to talk to her about my seizures " I don't want to talk about that" as she waived her arms it the air. I have a new doctor now. I deal with my seizures since 2015.
