Hi kate47167 and ian06543,  I am new to the forum.  I have been taking Lexapro .10mg for 13 days now.  Mornings are always my worse.  I have not had an appetite at all and it is scaring me because I am losing so much weight.  I am constantly nervous and very irritable.  I really wish I can start feeling back to my old self.  I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I will see how that goes.  This is a very tough road. I take lorazepam .05 at night daily to help me sleep and one during the day to help with my anxiety.  How are you guys feeling today?

Hi Jeanette. Yeah mornings being worse seems to be a common symptom of this illness. I find it very unsettling how I can be feeling fine in the evening, like now, and know that it'll be reversed in the morning and wishing it wasn't!  Mindfullness therapy for example trains you to accept the feelings and even explore them.  I've not perfected that yet though! Maybe worth a look for you?  I've had a bad day - not sure whether it was because of these initial side effects or because of what's going on in my life, which triggered this episode in the first place.  I suppose its the chicken v egg scenario.  I don't think 13 days is a long time since starting so hang on in there.  I've been through this before and it did pass and improve.  Good luck
