Difference in prescription after retinal detachment.

Hello.

Ive had scleral buckle surgery for my detached retina two years ago now, but I have struggling to cope with the difference in prescription between the two eyes when i wear glasses. One eye has 20/20 vision and the detached eye has -3.5 D with slight astigmatism.

I won't get into why, but I can't wear a contact lens and I can't get lasik on the detached eye.

This difference in prescription really really bothers me and I've been trying for years without success to find some sort of relief. No doctors I've asked know what to say or really care at all about this problem post surgery.
