different pitches of ringing and pressure changes in ears

I have had tinnitus high pitched ringing as long as i can remember, but over the past few years i have noticed some changes. when i was younger i had scans and testing done and very good hearing nothing wrong and i am now noticing pitches "introducing" themselves one or two times a day in either ear. they seem to disappear or maybe fade into the "choir" of ringing i have going on. But i have noticed i have started to have pitches that will appear so loud and pressure in the ear to the point that it is distracting to whatever im doing. like today I was at a register checking out and did not hear or concentrate on anything she said. it just appeared and it is starting to concern me. just want to know if anyone else experiences this...i have not read it anywhere so far. my hearing i believe is still just as good, i do hear electronics (phone chargers laptops lights tvs) and the pitches they give off it can be very annoying. please can someone relate! doctors only seem to go off other doctors notes...

Your symptoms of tinnitus sounds very similar to mine. I too have had it for many years as well has having migraine and vertigo. My tinnitus is constant in one year and will appear in the other ear on the onset of a migraine or vertigo attack. I also have a deeper motor like sound that is constant.
I am a mature person and have learnt to deal with it but it is quite distressing at times. I really do sympathise with younger people who have to hold down a job or look after children with this condition, which I have had to do in the past. People who have never suffered this really don't know how awful it can be.
Weather can affect me. When it is windy mine gets worse or in severe cold. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed my ringing was loader than yesterday and it has remained at that level this morning. It is now beginning to set off a migraine and I will need to take migraine medication soon.
I think there is still a lot of mystery around this as the causes and symptoms vary so much in each patient. The sad thing is tinnitus is more or less incurable and in my experience medication does not work very well. I have been lucky with the doctors and consultants that have treated me over the past few years as they have tried me on many different medication. I try to blot out the noises through distraction (listen to music or TV).
I hope that your symptoms will settle back down but if not any significant change, such as you describe, should have further investigation so go back to your GP and insist.
Good luck.
