Difficulty of finding a suitable bra with hiatus hernia

Posted , 3 users are following.

I would be grateful to hear if anyone has found a bra that does not restrict their comfort. I find that I have to undo mine after a main meal because otherwise I get hiccups and indigestion. I've tried so many different bras without success. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thank you.

OMG! I had to take my bra off at work today because it was so sore! I would love some advice re-comfy bras - I will be coming back to see if you have any feedback. I have already bought bras two back sizes bigger than usual and it still digs in!

I have resorted to cutting the back strip that the clips are on from old bra's and sewing them on to bra's I'm wearing to extend the size. That way I can loosen it off to whchever size I need as the work day wears on. Far from ideal I know, but necessity is the mother of invention, and boy is this necessary!

I have had the same experiences as those described. I have bought several different bras and bought a bra extender but the bras still hurt me so today I went to work wearing a swimsuit under my clothes. Bizarre but it worked because there were no wires and no tight band holding it in place. Yes it was tricky to go to the loo but I can put up with that a lot more easily than I can put up with the pain of a restrictive bra.
