I'm currently not on any medication for my fibro, personal choice, but currently know 2 people who have been very grateful for Lyrica. One of them is on it by itself with improved results and the other has been on it quite some time but I feel she takes it with another medication, something for her stomach issues, and she claims she cannot function without it.

Oh! Perhaps I misunderstood, I thought you were looking for a medication that would work better than what you tried in the past. Are you on any medication at this moment or are you going for a non medication route and looking for other ways to relieve the pain?

Hi Earthakitt Has your dr tried you on morphine and pain patches? have you tried acupuncture and hydrotherapy. some health authorities off free acupuncture for 12 weeks and frr hydrotherapy for so many weeks. Your gp can also refer you to a pain clinic and cbt therapy. My gp also tried me on string dose of Ibuprophen it hasnt worked for me. But we are all different what works for 1 may not for another. fibro is trial error on everything.rolleyes Have you thought about massage heat lamp massage chair. Ive found heat gives me a tiny bit of relief. Have you thought about herbal remedies Hope you find something that does help you soon. take care
