Diplopia Support

I've had binocular diplopia for 4 weeks and see no change yet. All tests came back negative for all the serious stuff (stroke, tumor, etc.). Am interested to hear from those who had it and how long it took to come back to normal vision and how you coped with the double vision. Was it a gradual heal or suddenly just as it came? I am very depressed about this and need some help in understanding this condition. No treatment has been prescribed for me--just wait for 6 weeks to see another eye doctor. Considering Mayo Clinic also.
