dipp down is it normal??

You need to up your dose to 100mg then up to 150 depending on how you feel.

Sertraline is the name of the active ingredient...the manufacturer names in the uk are teva, activis, Bristol, accord, lupin..etc

Most pharmacists will give out any kind of sertraline they have in stock and some people get negative effects from changing from one to another...Lustral by pfizer is the brand name "gold standard" of sertraline ...90% of people won't notice a difference...but take into account a pack of 28x100mg generic brand sertraline costs my local pharmacy £1.64 but 28x100mg lustral brand costs £32....I'm not sure of there is a difference but I'm guessing if a doctor or pharmacist needed to take sertraline they would take the lustral....my 2p

I'm not sure...if you can afford the 50 quid a month (150mg) or if you can get your GP to prescribe it...there may be no difference at all but I suggest you even move up to 75mg for a week or 2 to see how you get on...even if you don't get lustral just ask to have the same brand...a lot of people rate 'accord' as one of the best generic brands which are very cheap...they all contain the same amount of sertraline (give or take a few percent) but lustral (pfizer) possibly have a better or more even release of it in your system as they are the company who invented it and spent billions researching it..the generic brands are made in foreign countries like India and Israel.
