Disability premium esa

Hi I have just found out I could have been claiming sdp so I have filled out the form and sent it back I have been on esa for a few years now and I was receiving high mobility up until Feb this year when they ganged my PIP to standard care only can anyone tell me if I do qualify for this benifit and do they backdate it??

    Hi, to qualify for sdp you must be in the esa support group, care componant of pip (any rate), live alone and no one gets carers allowance for you. if you qualify then you should get it back dated to whn your became eligable. mine was back dated to october 2015.

      hi gill what if u are in a work related group on esa but do live alone get pip daily living etc

      well dont get that but as say get the daily living rate of 55 something a week on pip but in work related group but live alone no ne gets carers allowance etc

    Hi Gill, I had a call back from the jobcentre this morning and the money will be back dated up to 7th October 2016, and will be in my bank account on 10 October 2016,
