Disappointed...

Hi, I've enjoyed reading your success stories about weight loss, but I'm now feeling a failure!   I've been on them for nearly 3 weeks and have yo-yoed back and forth.  I loose weight then the next day its back on!  Overall, I think I have lost around 4 lbs, but many of you are loosing that, or more in a week!  I am on very low fat diet, cereals breakfast, salad lunch, slimming world recipe for tea - a couple of drinks at weekend and maybe relax the food abit, but I don't go crazy!  I don't take tablet when I have no fat meals...what do you think.  I also have under-active thyroid so I know that my metabolism is slow.  Any tips please cos' I feel like I'm going nowhere.  Getting abit worried about my first weight in with GP and worried that I won't get a repeat prescription - Help! x

I thought you had to take one every meal regardless of fat content. It's my first weigh in tomorrow. Also nervous! My scales say I've lost but who knows?

No, I thought that, but read the "instructions" that come with the tablets and it does say that if you have no fat or no meal, then you don't need to take a tablet.

My GP told me to take one with or within an hour of a meal. No meal, no tablet.

Isn't that an extreme diet for body builders?

No just for general jo bloggs who does a bit of exercise. I've been doing it a week. Never eat so much never feel hungry and loosing weight to. Really easy to do

If you are eating a meal take the tablet, once the majority of the fat is out of your meals the tablets help to start work on your fat reserves, but they only work when you're body is recieving/digesting food. Yeah if you have a cracker or a piece of fruit for a meal there probably isnt much point in taking one, but with a meal, even if the meal is low fat, you should be taking one, hope it's getting better for you!
