Disappointed in physiotherapy for shoulder (hard scar tissue)

About 3 months ago I was carrying a quite heavy umbrella base. I mean, you put your umbrella in there, it's a kind of very heavy iron piece.

I carried it wrong for sure. I can't explain this well, so here's an approximate picture:

Instead of me having both of my arms like that, I had both of them on the same side. Anyways,

When I did this, I felt a small pull, not even any pain, not even nothing, it never hurt me. But it messed both of my shoulders up. I didn't go to the doc right away, a mistake.

Now I have, especially on one of my shoulders, a kind of hard lumb sticking out. My whole shoulder is really hard and solid. I can't lie on my back cuz it's like it sticks out and the back hurts me. Even the other shoulder was somewhat affected.

I went to physiotherapy about 5 times, each time it's 30 euros (about 30 dollars or pounds). I get a massage for 5 or 10 minutes, they hook me up to a machine for about 10 minutes, that gives electric shocks. And then it's 10 minutes of streching and whatnot.

I mean I don't feel like it has been very effective, sure, maybe it helped a little bit. But sometimes I think my shoulder is still the same. I can't help but to feel that if someone gave me like a good hour long massage or something... this would go away so fast...

They gave me some exercises to do at home which I've done dilligentely. But no help so far.

anyone has any experience with this? some tips or advice? Sometimes I feel like I'll be like this forever...

It sounds horrible and it sounds painful. Have you seen an orthopedic surgeon yet? Have you had x-rays or an MRI? I would look into those and go from there. I have never heard of such a thing personally but it sounds really painful.

Did you see a surgeon and get an MRI? You need to know what’s going on in there
