Take calcium and vitamin K2 to put the calcium onto the bones. Take magnesium and vitamin D3.
I will not influence you but do give yourself time to be sure and ready.

I intend to get another scan in august and if osteoporosis is worse i will review my options.
the research did worry me about taking the zolendronic acid but if my numbers had been higher I might have taken the injection

I only found out about my osteoporosis yesterday so I am still at the 'investigation' stage. I will see my doctor next week for blood and other tests (want to read up about it first).
Because of the pain and discomfort of my other illnesses I am rather lazy. I know I should excercise more, but the effort!! However, I have been using the stairs instead of the lift. Our apartment leads out onto a very nice atrium, so I go for a walk 'inside' when the weather is bad.
I have a tens machine and a vibration plate, I also have exercise bands and weights (my intentions are good)😃
I don't yet know what my results of the Dexascan were, I will find out more next week. If they aren't too bad I will think carefully about having the injections.

Just to add - the "high frequency" you refer to is really very mild, it's more of a 'tingling sensation' rather than anything else. Don't want to frighten people off!!!

And as Constance said i was talking about perhaps buying the vibration plates as some form of excercise

I did put a post in earlier. One thing I dont know is the score.........It came back to my GP and she said that on the bottom of it it said they couldnt give the score...I said to the GP why?She said all I can think of is its because you have arthritis, scoliosis, and lots of other things that it is confusing it. Also I thank anti convulsants.....have epilepsy but have been clear for 16years now but still have to take tablets.
Love
