Discharge from Vitamin C insert

Is it normal to have an orange discharge after inserting? I've done it before and it was just a watery clear one or maybe I'm remembering it wrong. My tests at the doctors came back negative for anything but BV but when I looked it up it said Orange discharge is a symptom of Trich or BV. But before the inserts I had the standard watery white discharge. I'm really confused right now.

Hey there! I have not tried Vitamin C inserts myself but I have researched about them a lot. Everything I have read says that an orange colored discharge is normal the next day. Don't worry! Let us know if this treatment works!

Yes the bacteria can be orange. BV discharge can be yellow and sometimes the infection is higher up in the vagina and the orange color comes from a mix of old menstrual blood and the yellowish color of bacterial discharge. Sometimes it looks like orange jelly--that's the infection mixed with cervical mucous. It's normal and as the infection clears the discharge will get lighter in color until it is gone.

And discharge can be chunky/chalky because of the pill. But if it's white squishy looking chunks, it could be a yeast infection.

It was orange squishy looking chucks originally now it's just brown spotting It might be a mixture of the Vitamin C plus I started spotting a bit from skipping periods. I'm just paranoid I guess thank you for the reassurance.

Are you using the UNcoated white pills? Try that. I got the 500 mg tabs from family dollar. They cost $3.50. Bottle is blue and brand is "naturalist." As I have said in other threads, people in other countries have been using this method for years.
