So I'm single and have been dating prior too getting hsv2 I am still dating my question is when is a good time to tell someone your interested in you have herpes. I know before sex but I just feel like if we are trying to build on something even if I abstain from sex how and when is the best time. I feel like I'm stringing them along not telling up front in case we do start to catch feelings and then i have to tell them the news after their feelings are involved someone help me please.

For me I am just open all the time! If it's online dating I usually say it if we plan a date or what ever. If I met the guy in a club or something I'd tell him if we arranged a date! Personally that works best for me 😃.

I don't want to waste my time or theirs 😂 most people don't have a problem with it 😃

ok so i tried that because id rather be up front about it especially if a person is really interested he told me he's never dated anyone with it but it wouldn't stop him if he liked that someone he was really nice and understanding about everything so i guess we'll see how things go.

I think that's the best way to be! I'm not ashamed of having it, I did nothing wrong to get it! But it is very important to give people that choice. There is lots of good information on the std project if you need help answering his questions!! Good luck x
