was wondering if anyone else has experienced discoloration around surgery site this far out from surgery and of it ever went away? mine ankle has nice brown blotches and even some that still look like purple bruises. its very ugly. i did have a hematoma, that might be part of the reason.

My surgery was July 10 and my foot is normal color.

I am 6 months out and those areas are finally getting lighter. Sheesh!!

my ankle is still big..not huge ..I hope that goes down. It feels like bone but I guess its swelling.

the discolouration varies in healing time. could be up to 2 months to get your normal skin colour back.
