Discolouration on Foreskin

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hi guys,

I've been noticing these streaks of lighter coloured skin appearing on my foreskin (and a little on the skin where my penis attaches to my testicles) , and I don't quite know what they are. Pictures are attached below for reference.

I'm not sexually active, and I don't do any sports either. I haven't started using any new products too. I am quite prone to stretch marks on other parts on my body, and that is the closest explanation I can give to these streaks of discoloured skin. They don't feel particularly bumpy either; I can only feel hair and normal skin when I run my fingers along them.

They just started appearing around a month ago, and they don't itch, and aren't irritated either. They're just there, and they seemed to be spreading a little up my foreskin, but it has stopped spreading now. They don't seem to be disappearing either, so I just wanted to check with you guys if you've had a similar experience.

Thanks in advance,

Shane

    Stretch marks possibly

Yes, possibly. But, some sources say that the foreskin has no collagen so it's impossible for it to get stretch marks, which is what has me stumped. This could be false, of course, but I just wanted to see if it could be anything else, possibly something to worry about.

Stretch marks on the penis isn't rare and the penis still has skin that can stretch and tear which can cause stretch marks. Also stress can also cause stretch marks to appear on the penis due to some men producing more stress hormone. You can always check with a urologist.

I see! Thanks so much for the info!

I might just have it checked out at my next physical! It's nothing pressing, so I think it'll be okay to just keep an eye on for now!

Yes, keep an eye on it and keep us posted whenever you do go for your next physical.

    Hello,

I have something similar since a few years (not sure when it had start), it was spreading really slowly and i didn't paid attention before it was clearly noticeable. But in my case skin looks sticky (not all the time), its also on left side of scrotum and the rest a bit like you.

I have no idea what it is, the skin looks "different" and clearer than the rest on penis. In erection, its lot less visible.

I've searched everywhere on the net, forums and medical websites, and found nothing that describes or show my condition. The closest seems to be your case.

Didn't go the urologist yet because i'm frightened what it could be.

    Any news ?

      hi!

unfortunately, no news. it isn't spreading or anything, and its just cosmetic, so i didn't think its worth it to go to the doctor right now considering the situation with COVID-19 at the moment.

If I do end up finding some information, ill definitely comment on this post again to keep people updated!

But, just in my case, I think it most probably might just be stretch marks. I'm quite prone to them, I have them all over my body and its something I've come to terms with. moreover, I do distinctly remember now that I had used a masturbation sleeve sex toy pretty close to when this started, so I might have used too little lube or something, so stretch marks do seem likely.

But, in any case, if I get a physical anytime soon, I will let you know!

      Cheers x
