omg cant believe ive found this and so shocked as so many is describing my symptoms. ill start at the beginning, im a self employed painter and decorator lady in UK, ive been in business 22 years. in 2013 my back went after a lot of doctors appointments i went private and a spine specialist agreed to do the op on my back l4s5, aug 2018. He did a ALIF going in my tummy, 3 weeks post op i was lying on the coach and it felt like someone had suddenly punched in my right side under my ribs leaving there fist there. i also can pop something under my ribs that my partner sat on the settee can hear it. I've been like this now for 5 years 6 in sept, ive had lots of scans and bloody tests but nothing has shown up, my doctor told me he wasn't sending me anywhere else I had to live with the discomfort. I was distort, I was thinking I cant live with this. I havent been in my partners car for over a year cause it feels so bad, im okish in my van. anyway im writing this to tell you all for the past 12 months ive had private pyshio hes worked on my back, intercostal and rib area, today 14th Feb 2024 he worked on my sternum and found areas that is so painful hes feeling positive hes found the area that along with my back could be causing this god damn awful discomfort. unfortunately after all this time he's retiring in 3 weeks but he's hopeful that he can change something, im praying he can. it takes over your life I still work every day but when I get home im exhausted with the lower back ache and the rib discomfort. if anyone out there can find the cause and cure for this I feel they would be very rich from all ive read on here. i have paid thousands in 5 years trying to find out what it is. I'll keep you updated in the next 3 weeks and he continues to work on my sternum. stay strong someone will find out what this is im sure, well I live in hope. x
