    Hey Wiggs

I started the 9th march and guess what!!!......Not lost a blooming thing either! I have been eating well, exercising more than ever before and my weight has stayed exactly the F**** same!! Frustrated isnt the word! Have had everything from MAP and I am following the instrucitons and menu suggestions but maybe these pills just doent suit everyone and we fall into that category!?? I have booked an appointment with the dr again on monday as dont see the point in popping a pill for the sake of it when it isnt helping me...maybe you should think about it too!

Are you exercising and eating healthy and low fat? If it's any concilation I am feeling exactly the same as you!

Maybe it takes longer to work for us? Who knows but speak to MAP, I need to ring them and check too if all else fails go back to your dr!!

Hope things pick for you but chin up and keep going! Claire x

    Hi Claire

Sorry to hear things not going your way either. I will give the tablets another 2 weeks and if no change in weight i will go and see dr again, in the meantime i will ring MAP to see if they have any suggestions. Thanks for the support, will keep you posted on how things go.

Hi guys i havent posted for months as i am no longer taking orlistat but i still log in and cheer on you guys that are trying so hard, i felt i just had to tell you now that this med doesnt work on everyone sad i dont want to make anyone feel worse but i took them for almost 7 months last year ,the first few weeks i lost a few pounds but 5 weeks on and up to the 7 month mark i didnt lose anything even though i was eating right and excersising, around 6 months into taking them i got to the point of not caring anymore and went out and for a mcdonalds expecting to be on the loo all the next day but it had no effect at all so i went on to have fish and chips on the saturday and pigged out on a very much missed roast dinner on the sunday,i had still taken orlistat at all meal times but again i had no bad reactions what so ever ,back to the docs i go and he couldnt belive what i had eaten but then added that orlistat wasent for everyone and he had seen a few of his patients not responding to the meds and had taken them off it,me being one of them {sigh }after coming off them i have remained the same weight but learned to accept that this is how i am and until a miracle happens i will probably have to put up with it.Dont give up unless you feel it really isnt doing anything and chat with your docs first just wanted to share my experience and good luck
