Disneyland and Circulation Issues at 7 months

Hey guys.
So has anyone else had their arms and or legs falling asleep? It accompanies my limb pain/fatigue. And especially happens at night when I sleep. It’s scary and makes me think something is wrong with my heart.
Also- we had booked a family trip to Disneyland before I got sick and took the trip last week. I was terrified I would be stuck in my room sick all the time but! Disneyland – California adventure – Universal Studios all have the option of a wheelchair or even more fun, a motorized scooter! I swear to god it saved my life! First I felt silly but when it allowed me to actually enjoy the parks and not get super exhausted I came around to loving it. Wanted to share a bit of happy news! I will hit eight months this month – and while some things are definitely better, I seem to have relapses from out of nowhere. So frustrating.

Those mini relapses come and go but are the first signs of recovery. I started feeling this way at around 8 months and by 11 months was feeling much more normal.

Thanks Mono - that's really encouraging to hear! It's so strange to start feeling good and do something as simple as dancing or swimming for like 2 minutes and be instantly struck with fatigue. Plus all the other weirdo symptoms that seem to make no sense or correlation to each other. But so glad you are doing better!!!! There's hope!

I like to think it is the immune system getting a hold of the virus and eventually those down days are less and less.

Hey Lisa,
I hope you had a good time at your trip away - that is an amazing achievement you managed that despite what you have been going through, and I understand that is not an easy thing to do to take a wheelchair when finding it hard - but it is a real sign of strength and courage Lisa that you did it and went.
I'm still believing you're through the worst of this - I was still in bits after 8 months but after 10 a real turning point came. Really hoping and believing and praying that a real turning point is on the horizon for you too. It IS going to happen Lisa, I truly believe, despite the frustrating of relapses and the ups and downs (which is normal during recovery but does go away). I had a real bout of joint pain in my arms and legs at about 9 months, that was one of my lowest points where I just thought it would never get better - but looking back I think it was my body's final push for the start of a fuller recovery. This could be the same for you too Lisa. Supplements like B complex, Co-enzyme Q10 and Evening Primrose Oil can be great to help sooth nervous system in these instances I found.
Thinking of you and hang in there!! You WILL get there, I totally believe and trust God with that.

My sis n law thinks I should get tested for Lyme disease- just to be safe. It was odd that I got mono. I wasn’t around anyone who had it and no one else in my family got it. And even if I don’t have Lyme at least I can rule it out. Last night was a rough one- limb pain and tingling/numbness all night. Sigh. I have no idea why either. But it gives me strength to believe an end is in sight! And that you fully recovered!
I have not tried CQ10 yet- or primrose oil. I’m on about a dozen other things. But I’ll give them a try!

Thanks so much for the kind words Lisa, taking the time to be so nice when feeling so unwell yourself says so much about you!
There would be no harm in getting tested for Lyme's disease - it most likely is just the mono as it gets you like that, but certainly I know they can do a simple blood test for Lyme's disease as I had one done last years, so worth asking the doc.
Yes always worth trying another supplement to see if something makes a difference, I did find Co-enzyme Q10 particularly helpful during mono and evening primrose oil can be really good too.
