Disorientation with Anxiety and Stress?

With generalized anxiety and stress, Does anybody ever feel a little disoriented when they are somewhere other than home? Not every time but sometimes. With that I get moderate head pressure and sometimes vibration or buzzing in arms or legs . All my blood tests and neurological tests have always come back normal.
I think the disorientation May come from the head pressure and anxiety causing me to not being able to think clearly.
just curious if anybody else has ever had this.
Weird . I do have a history of bottled up anxiety, stress and extreme shyness since childhood .
Thanks!

All the time. Sometimes it feels like the entire day, sometimes it's in little bursts or something. For me, what's most frequent is brief moments where I feel sort of lost in a way, and then it just goes away but leaves me with a lot of anxiety.

Yes! I get extreme disorientation at times, even at home, but it's way more pronounced in public. I get dizzy, confused, clumsy; all of which cause me to panic. I have thoughts about how life is so bizarre. I get an overwhelming feeling of awe/dread that I'm a conscious human being. Humans look so strange to me during these times. Life feels unreal. I contemplate how strange every tasks are like working, shopping, school for example. I don't know if any of this makes sense but you're not alone.

I haven't been able to go into a grocery store for more than about five minutes in years! I hate all the sensory overload.

Disorientation is typical with GAD. Head pressure, or tightness around the head is also common. I have felt this disorientation many times and feelings of depersonalization as well. If you are taking medication, other symptoms may appear, such as fogginess You may also experience a feeling of being at home in your body, but not at home. I have also had bottled up anxiety for years. We have to express our feelings somehow - anxiety is the result when a person is sensitive and bottles up feelings, afraid of confrontation or exaggerated feelings of guilt, etc. You are in good company, I have to keep telling myself that.

Thank you so much Gary. I thought I was getting early dementia because of getting disoriented in a familiar place, but the neurologist disagreed and tested my short term memory which was excellent. He said I have a very high level of anxiety. I guess I get scared because my mom had dementia, but she was in her eighties.
I just have to work on reducing my anxiety and taking one day at a time.
But thanks again 😁??
