Displaced Acromion Fracture and AC Separation

I've been to six orthopedics and getting total different response in regards to this injury. I've been told to let it heal on it's own, and then was told to do surgery immediately (or a "non-union") may occur and cause a more complicated surgery down the line. In the interim I was told to completely immobilize it vs. other docs saying to move it so that shoulder doesn't stiffing up and that it ok to type, write, etc. , as long as I'm not picking up more than 2lbs. Very confusing.....!
