Disulfiram like reaction after Cephalosporin treatment

Age:18 Sex:Male Height: 1.70 cm Weight: 65 kg

About a month ago, I got a chest infection wich got me in the hospital. They administered me Cefoperazone in combination with sulbactam. Since then, every time i drink alcohol i get facial flushing. Sometimes a headache or a pounding heart. I never had symptoms like this when drinking alcohol before the treatment with Cefoperazone. Will this reaction go away? Or will i be stuck with it for the rest of my life?

    I am not medically trained. However a quick google search shows there is some evidence of a similar disulfirum reaction when the antibiotic is taken with alcohol.

    However, I agree with Robin that your dr is the best person to contact for proper advice
