Diverticula or Hernia

I suffer with diverticula, I had flair in January and since then I’ve have been in constant pain in my lower left side, sometimes it is mild and sometimes it is really bad and moves about from back to front. I have been to see my doctor regarding this pain. My Doctor says a diverticula pain should not last that long and examined me and thinks I have a Hernia. I had mild pain before being examined but after examination I was in severe pain all that day. Can anyone tell me who has or had a hernia in lower left side if they have had pains like theses? Really painful today lower left side and at the moment it has moved to my left side of my back and it gets worse when moving around or walking and eases when I rest. I don’t feel ill just in really bad pain. comments Please

Do you think it could be a kidney stone?  I think your Dr should find out the cause.  It sounds different from DD pain that I have experienced.  Don't keep waiting around.  Get to the bottom of it. Best wishes to you.

Yes, go back.  I think you are right about it not clearing up, and that you need more antibiotics as you have a temperature and chills.  It can take weeks for the pains to subside - mine took 10 months - but I did not have any fever or temperature.
