cutting a long story short, finished a course of amoxicillin antibiotics yesterday morning for a severe head cold that ended up as sinusitis was also taking paracetamol and codeine, last night started with the dreaded lower left sided pain! took buscopan which helped, but also got this weird feeling just above my naval like something was moving and had a couple of palpitations, i am a worrier and suffer from health anxiety, today ive been to the loo several times with good results, now getting what feels like cystitis, and have felt off all day .

anyone else had these symptoms ? just looking for advice.

Hi I would take a urine sample in to the doctors to be checked, uti can make you feel like crap. Temp, pain and generally unwell, have a glass of cranberry every day, it works wonders. Diverticulitis and uti is common together, I myself have had 3 together since Xmas. I hope you feel better soon

You are stressed out big time ,which makes you feel sure that every tweak and twinge are danger signs of awful things .Sounds as though you have a pile of poo to remove .and all your bits will be feeling sore. Your imagination is working overtime ,so you really need to think positive . Keep your bowels moving the rubbish out Lactulose will do this ,,gently massage the bits that are bothering you ,and go for a walk. Deep breathing,, is a surprising help to calming everything down ,I have just discovered this ,and it does work. and. you can do it anywhere, NOW,,come on .. cheer up .you are fine...
