Diverticulitis flare and temperature

hello, i am being treated for diverticultis and on day 2 of co-amoxiclav. my temperature is still spiking so taking paracemtol which is now bringing it down.

This is my first flare, was seen at the walk in centre and told this is what they suspect and all my research falls in with this diagnosis and how i am feeling.

i have a follow up with my GP in two weeks to arrange a referral for scans etc.

any information woukd be really appreciated.
