Diverticulitis flare up

Recently diagnosed with Diverticulitis. Felt ok after the antibiotics kicked in, however, I have had a flare up over the last few days and am wondering how long I should follow a liquid diet. I am also thoroughly confused about what things I can eat afterwards as there are so many conflicting opinions about what you can and should not eat. I notice from your website people have mentioned the FODMAP eating plan and I wonder if this has helped.
