Diverticulitis ribbon poop

Has anyone had thin ribbon like poop after diverticulitis attacks?

    Yes absolutely.  Cramps and ribbon like stools.  Get a good probiotic.  It will help get your intestines back to normal.  I took Florestor.  Ask your pharmacist.

      Sadly they didn't work for me, I tried them for three months and gave me lots of wind which made things worse for me. Maybe works for some

      I am so sorry.  The probiotic worked for my diarrhea but the heating pad soothes your abdomen.  I agree it takes time for thecspasms to quiet. Did you take the prescription Bentyl?  I take that whenever I feel bloated and cramps.  It’s an antispasmodic medication. You can take it 3 times a day. Hoping you feel better  soon.🤗

    Yes, you have to remember your colon is swollen and spasmodic. Depending on your situation, scarring in the colon can cause the ribbon like symptoms.
