Dizzines

Age 59. Attempted to slowly wean off my synthetic progesterone and estradiol in February of this year after taking them successfully for five years. Resulted in horrible dizzy spells, Occurring most often after eating or when blood sugar got too low (same dizzy spells I had when I was pregnant years ago) Switched to bioidentical hormones and have been doing better but still struggling with the dizziness. Been doing research on how hormone changes may cause dizziness. Anyone else have dizziness related to hormone adjustments and is it ever occurring related to meal times?

    Hi

no I am on Oestrogen only and I'm patch form.

Good luck I think because we all react differently Its hard to recommend alternatives although from my own experience patches don't cause me any internal issues.

I'm on bio identical hormones and have not had any issues with dizziness. Check with your primary doc to make sure it isn't something else causing the dizziness (one thing that comes to mind is vertigo). But best not to assume that the dizziness is hormone related. Get checked out by your primary doc:) Hope you feel better soon.
