Do a search for dizzy times, it's a forum for dizzy people. Look into these terms. If you think these are your issues then look up dry needling

Sternocleidomastoid syndrome - (Causes dizziness, ringing ears, head aches, disorientation)

Levator scapulae syndrome - (Headaches and "head pressure")

Also, please read "Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction -- A Trigger Point Manual" by Travelle and Simons

sorry to hear you've been having such a struggle.  Hang in there, keep trying to do your best effort and hopefully you will compensate and adjust.  Is your breathing affected because of your anxiety, so you hyperventilate which will cause you to feel more dizzy.  Try some relaxation or meditation will might help you control your breathing better.  I tried prochlorperazine, it might have helped but was hard to say as i didn't notice any big difference, but different drugs work better for some rather than others.  I have found the best help to be keeping hydrated and not overdoing things and trying to slow down a bit.

Hiya Anne ,were still at it then ,now another to join our ranks ,not heard from Darren ? will EMail Gillian later see how and what was said at her Hsp visit .So many with this ,I'm now looking at the thyroid see if that's playing a part to any of it .Drives me nuts dealing with it .Lad in my local newsagent still has it bad .

I started to take my BP in the morning instead of at night,to see if that made a difference ,no change what so ever ,so can't figure it out ,and that's only med I take ,so meds I can definatley rule out .Spoke to my local chemist he said to try histamine told him. I'd been down that road with them all no affect .oh well on we go ,but what is it doing it,why does some ease off but comes back ,where others like me it's constant daily .Lady with tinnitus I speak to sounds like Nilly can't even go to a shop ,I don't believe it's anxiety ,but certainly can cause anxiety by the nature of it .xxx

Hi Marlene, i met someone else with it the other day.  I find that if i tell people i meet sometimes i have it, then i find others with it too.  I don't tell everyone of course but i had to mention it the other day as i was trying to look sideways at a document and had to let them know that looking down, sideways and to the left was making me feel dizzy, then felt i had to offer an explanation and found that the other person has vertigo also and has all the tests etc.,

Was really dizzy at work today after pulling a muscle in my back, stood up and everything went wonky.  You never know with this condition from one minute to the next.  I had to go on a visit with out doctor after this who said he couldn't drive cos' he has a bad cold and i had to say i can't either cos my backs gone, so he drove like a madman, might have been safer if i'd driven with my back and dizziness.

What a game!  Hang in there though heysmile

Hi we've got through another couple weeks since last spoke ,I'm as you if I need to ask to get something repeated then I explain I have tinnitus ,same with the balance .Then someone will pop up with my mum ,sister dad neighbour suffers from that ,I'm gobsmacked how many have one or both ,then the anxiety is mentioned .the lad I mentioned only in his early 20s .

Laughed at the dr and his driving with a cold ahh least his cold will go hey

Bet you were holding your breath him behind the wheel .

Your back and shoulder still the same then ,my goodness ,that's painful just getting in and out of a car ,I still get pain from when I hurt both my shoulders back in summer ,someone said who had same they were told can take up to 2 years to stop on pain front 18 months to go then ..

Got that right Anne  what a came ,have thought of you ,plus you out at work same as Darren .Heres a tip for shoulder pain ,warm olive oil,rub in ,then cover with cling film and leave it ,this tip came from female ,4 days later pain left .Weird I know but got oil on radiator as I type .Simplest of things comes a cure .why that combo a mystery .xxx

Hi Nilly yes I've not had anxiety till my probs came up ,so no it's not anxiety brought on. It's how it leaves you ,down to the stress of having this balance going on .It stops you in your tracks Don't get why it's lasted so long just don't get it at all .Im fine driving ,just walking ,standing still ,hey and I'm teetotal feeling this way .How old are you ? Like most on this dizzy site we've tried most things we know how or what to try .

thanks Marlene for the tip about warm olive oil and cling film.   The doctor actually said he had 'flu'.  I said you wouldn't be able to work if you had flu, what you've got is 'man flu'.  He took it in good spirits and brightened up after 2 ibuprofen.  Having just got over a dose of it myself i hope he hasn't passed it on to me again, i had my window open all the way to keep the germs at bay.   Suggested he get some Lemsip Plus.   Sorry to hear your shoulders no better.  My student nurse is still suffering whip lash from the car accident we had in December.  I had an extra stiff neck for about a week after, but then i've always got a stiff neck.  I've bought some new scarfs to keep my neck warm out and about.  It was trying to snow here today so think coming in from the cold after being out for a while caused my back spasm as i do know cold affects my back.
