absolutely. Definitely anxiety.. I hate the feeling.. but what helps is when I look at OnE thing and focus my mind on it to help get me through those situations. sometimes when I'm driving on back roads.. and dark.. I start freaking out.. but I always have to center my vision on one thing.. the road.. and just go a ways and then I feel better.

Yes! This has been one of the worst parts of having GAD for me, and the dizziness has caused panic attacks sometimes . I went to the doctor for it and she could not find anything wrong so she put it down as benign vertigo, in other words she didn't know but it would usually happen in times when I would feel anxious so I know what it was after all these years. For me it would also get worse in shopping centers or crowded places. Now that my anxiety and everything is starting to get better I've noticed the dizziness is starting to go away, so relieved!

    Hi,

I too get this in a shopping centre or even talking to people. I am having counselling at the moment and the counsellor said it is the stress response in our body to a situation, she said our brain changes to fight of flight mode and we can feel dizzy. She said social anxiety can cause this also.

      Hi,

I also experience what feels like dizziness / head pressure just from talking to people - especially if they are talking at length and in detail. It makes me just want to get away from them. It seems a lot of my problems seem to originate from other people and the energies they give off.....
