dizziness and feeling unsteady on right side of head

Hi there

i have been gradually losing mobility in my neck over the last 5 years .I have been referred to physio a couple of times when i have been in a lot of pain.At present i am not in pain but a month ago i had a strange feeling in the right side of my head and the room spinning only on the right eye when i got up i found instead of walking foward i was driffting to the right it lasted for an hour or two and then subsided.Well it happened again yesterday and lasted the whole morning,My question is could this be from my neck? and is there anything a doctor could do or is this something i am going to have to live with
