I agree with you there. I've had 7 yrs of b...y so called specialists. I think the  medical, fraternity dont want to spend money on research for it.,so fob us off with pills that dont work, exercises that don't work, CBT and Anxiety counselling. Niw i'm older i get the 'getting old' thing'!! I point out that 7 yes

ars  ago it was the same, so nothing to do with it!

Do you receive disability allowance? I have looked up and Menieres Disease is a disability so I am going to try for it

    Good Morning Alison,

Have you seen a doctor?  Some ENTs know how to deal with "dizziness"  but I have found that Neurologists are better equipped to accurately diagnose dizziness maladies.  Some forms of dizziness can be treated with therapy while others will respond to medicine.  A good practitioner will be able to tell you which you have and stop your dizziness.

I have seen a neuro surgeon ent ,audiologist every GP in my surgery I seen the top man from e.n.t and no 1got a clue x

I aslo saw all those. The Nuerologist is really more to do,with the brain functions only, as i,learned. You need,to see a Neuro,Otologist as they deal, with the vestibular system, which is mainly where our problems stem from.

Hi gillian....problems of this sort can also be related to the central nervous system as they were with me. In this case it is more of a rheumatology/vasculitis specialist you need to see as I did.
