Dizziness, headaches, foggy, pressure in head & plugged ears

It's happening again, everyday it's the same thing and I don't know how to calm myself down. I think when ever I get these feeling I am going to pass out and die instantly. The dizziness gets so bad I have to hold my head and close my eyes I don't understand it. I always think I'm having a heart attack, stroke, blood clot in my head or cancer all the time because doctors still don't know why I get these symptoms. I get anxiety so bad because of the pain I get and I keep thinking the worse things. I keep thinking that i am getting the wrong diagnosis from the doctors and if I ignore the pain it is actually something serious then it's too late to do anything about it.

Tests that I got done in the last 3 years were: xray of my head and neck, mri of head, numerous blood work. I have done physio, chiro, acupuncture and massage therapy. Only thing that kind of helps is massage therapy which is what I am still doing now.

I am getting no answers and just worrying everyday. I just want these symptoms to go away I want my life back I don't feel like the same person anymore.

I realized something last night. I fell asleep in my small Lazy Boy chair, which is upright. I slept like a baby for a solid hour or two. I then got up and went to bed, and as soon as I put my head on my pillow (LOL, literally "My Pillow" actually) my neck started hurting again. Quite badly. In fact, the purple and black swirls started up (!) and I have never, ever had a migraine 2 days in a row, not like this with the swirls.

I got up and went back to the Lazy Boy. I slept for a solid 4 hours and didn't move once all night. When I woke up, for the first time in ages my jaw didn't pop really loudly numerous times (didn't need to), my neck wasn't crazy sore and stiff (just a little adjustment/pop needed).

I will experiment with sleeping upright either on the Lazy Boy or on the couch for the next few nights and see. Obviously, my neck is so screwed up right now that it can't even support my body laying down.

Hi, i thought id let you all know since my first post on this forum regarding my misery and symptoms such as headaches every day, imbalance, difficulty concentrating, haze thinking that ive got some hope!

I've been under supervision of a Neurologist and 1 year 6 months ago he tried me on a antidepressant called 'Nortriptyline' which can help relief headache symptoms and anxiety related issues. I was first put on a dose of 20mg (tablet) before i went to sleep which then increased to 30mg however it had no positive effect. The dosage was increased to 50mg and now for the last 9 months it has massively improved symptoms. I forgot what feeling 'normal' was like and now i have part of 'me' back.

I often wake up now without headaches or 'foggy head' and almost rid of vertigo symptoms (dizziness, unbalanced).

I'm far from being fixed but this for me was a lifeline and has restored hope. I see my Neurologist in May for a update / check up.

I thought i'd point out, i work in a Sales job which is / was extremely stressful and i believe a build up of stress over a short period 2 years ago led to two anxiety attacks and havent been the same since.

Please consult your GP to request appointment with a Neurologist and discuss the above. It may just help you!!!
