Dizziness/light headedness on most days

Hello everyone,

I have been feeling dizzy/light headed on most days since 13/5/18 and sometimes it affects my throat/mouth. I struggle to swallow on an empty mouth. It feels as if my bottom jaw gets stuck. My mouth can get a bit dry at times as well. I had vertigo many years ago but it passed. My current problem started one Sunday afternoon as I was watching a film on my computer with my heaphones in. Suddenly it felt as if I couldn't swallow and I became dizzy. I think it happened as I turned my head slightly to the right. A month before this I was prescribed Lanzoprazole as my GP thought I had gastric reflux. I have stopped taking those now but I and wonder if they cause long term side effects such as dizziness and dry mouth. On 23/5/18 I saw an ENT specialist who said that my ears were fine. I am not convinced that this is the case because on 18/6/18 I had an episode of vertigo and I've been feeling light headed /dizzy ever since. I have to say the ENT consultant prescribed some antibiotics as he thought I had slight swelling in the throat. My my concern is that I want the dizziness and throat oodiscomfort to stop. I am due to see the ENT consultant in August but in the meantime can anyone give me an idea as to what it might be?
