Hello,

I have been recentyl diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis) . Although I have never had any problems like this in the past after I went to the hospital to get diagonosed . Doctors told me that I may have pain in the head eye, numbness in the limbs etc. None of that has occured as of yet. But for a week now I am feeling dizzy , its harder to focus when moving my head. Mostly occurs when im walking if i look far into the distance it doesnt affect me much. But if im walking and looking at something near or the ground. Its like my vision cant focus, and get this heavy feeling in my head. All of the symptoms get better when i sit down or lie down. Mornings seem to be the time when the dizzines is the heviest on me. Though it is not strong enough for me to lose balance , unable to walk or do anything that I do on a daily basis. Practicaly im unaffected physically in day to day life . But this dizzines is still mentally hard to cope with everyday , since its been going on for a week. I have read many articles on MS and dizziness or vertigo is part of the symptoms of ms , that usually go away in a matter of days. Im just looking for a way to get through this if there is a possibility.

Vestibular excercises. Is there any place to read up on that?

YouTube has videos some posted about. VRT excercises. I went to rehab. Had a therapist show me how to do them right. If you do them wrong or push your self to much. Can make it worse. They are designed to retrain your brain to deal with the imbalance.

Heya, I had dizziness for 2 years and I am not well today infact, I can't get up because I feel like I'm going to fall and it's scary, you need to make sure you eat something and drink loads off water and just rest! It's best to sit up, I can't lay down because I f el worse with dizziness. It's hard to cope with but just have to try and forget and don't let it get to you because it's controlling you and it's in your head.

This was the first time since i never was diagnosed with MS . But the MS popped up as my right eye went bad. Suddenly i got sever head pain. And with my right eye I could only see like through a fog, then i lost the ability witht that eye to distinguish colors. Then got hospitalized , several blood tests, an MRI and a spinal puncture. I got diagnosed with MS. Nothing has ever happened in my life leading to this. Never had any symptoms associated with MS. But since now it is quote "activated". 3 months after meds , now this dizziness happens out of nowhere. Changed my diet , my lifestyle. Taking my recommended vitamins etc. But now have to deal with this dizziness on a daily basis.
