Dizziness when I leave the house, is it anxiety?

Ive been experiencing odd symptoms for over a year that I cant put my finger on. it seems that when I leave my house to go anywhere (in particular shopping centres, lecture halls, restaurants. not exhaustive) I feel a sensation in my head that my head is growing weak, dizzy or I am about to faint. it can happen when im walking or sitting, while im alone or with someone. I dont feel that confident about being by myself, yet ive been feeling like this for over a year and there has never been an instance where i have fainted or when the feelings have overwhelmed me enough to sit down etc. nonetheless it scares me, i feel anxious, unwell and i would rather go home. The feeling can sometimes make my vision slightly more distant or mildly fuzzy. I know its not the answer but i find when i have a glass of wine etc whilst feelings this or in these situations the feelings dont persist. I cant help but worry it is something serious. I do feel like its holding me back and I worry about it. Does anyone have any suggestions about what could cause it - otherwise I am a young female who is healthy as far as I know except being extra tired at times.

Definitely anxiety. The dizziness feeling was one of my worst symptoms. I've had anxiety, panic attacks since I can remember and that was the part I think that bothered me the most. I finally gave in years ago and let the GP write me meds for anxiety and once I took them the dizziness and off feelings were gone, I'm going to assume that is what the wine does for you it calms your anxiety and those feelings go away. It can be scary but I think once you finally know and believe its just the anxiety causing it, it will come and go much faster, or stop coming at all.

    Best Wishes!
