Its normal. just one of the side effects. I was like that for weeks, on week 8 now tho, at 150mg, and that feeling has pretty much gone, and feeling a lot better, so its working. Iit was around week 5/6 that the side effects started wearing off, i think it just takes your body a while to adjust to the sertaline, but once it does you will feel a lot better, its hard getting through the initial stages tho, but hang in there, the side effect will pass. All the best G x

    Hi Lolita,

Sorry you are not feeling well.

I’m on 50 at 8 wks. I get dizzy from time to time, frequently worse a couple hours after I take the med in the morning. I do however also get dizzy when my anxiety is high. Yes, dizzyness is a side effect though I’m not sure when it gets better. Best luck. - x kat

Hi again. My side effects changed all the time, one would go away and a different one would appear! it was quite strange, they would come and go. as i said though, and like Joe said, it was around week 5/6/7 for me that they all started to get better.

I did feel ‘light headed’ and dizzy for about 4 weeks when I first started Sert.

Try not to fret, it is a pretty common side effect x

Hey how's your anxiety? I think you said in a different post it has gone down a bit? I'm almost done with my third week. I'm feeling a bit better. I have a job interview tomorrow. I would usually be really nervous but tonight I'm pretty calm. Are you still taking klonopin at night. I'm going to just stay with my morning of zoloft and klonopin at night if needed. What about your tiredness? Are you feeling you have more energy?

My anxiety is a little more present these past days. But Im also in my spm wich normally increased it. So i will see after that. Still pretty tired. That really bothers me. And today feel dizzy and bit space. I dont like it and hope it pass.

I was a bit occuped today but saw that you didnt sleep well with the formula night... maybe after a few more weeks we might be better with the tiredness and other side effects.

      Hope so.

I see my doctor only in 2 weeks. Hope it gets better by that time.
