    Hi LIsa,

Your symptoms sound very familiar and have lots of times  during the years.

You say you've had antibiotics which haven't worked so I wonder if you actually need a different one.....sinusitis can give all the symptoms you're describing and can be difficult to treat as regards finding the right antibiotic so worth chatting to GP as agin.

Also labrythitis can also give similar symptoms and is not always recgonised....could be a combination.

I've got sinusitis at the moment and am taking antibiotics - symptoms are improving but time needed!

Its important to keep moving - even though this feels like its making thinks worse in order not to get too deconditioned....just getting out of bed and getting a drink that sort of thing.

Its worth doing gentle stretching excercises in bed too - again just keeps system moving - just dont push it!

If you cant concentrate to read its importnat not to dwell on your symptoms too much as this is likely to raise your anxiety levels.....music  or thinking about whaat you going to do as you get better is a good distraction

Sleep as you need to ...I keep nodding of but view it as all part of the healing...my night sleep is disturbed anyway so dont think the odd nap during the day makes it any worse!!

    Hope this is helpful...good luck

l have some of same symptoms, the tirednes fatigue, general aches and pains along with it, but severe pain in lower hips into lower butt and top of legs at back, l dont sleep well, 4-5hrs best, wake early with pain and cant sleep again, l dont get dizzy and balance okish, its just the tiredness stops me doing more, l can do essential jobs in home, and can get out to shop, but half hour moderate exertion and shattered.  l can sit upright on sofa  and go off to sleep so easily, wake feeling as bad, chilled  l saw dr today, full blood test to do, had it before, also physio to see, she mentioned vit d lack, and my nails are breaking away low, Hoping tests will show cause but not sure as had before. l guess your gp looked into your ears, as lve had labrinthitus years ago and that can cause severe dizzyness and lack of balance, if theyve not ask them to, also guess youve tested as aneamic to be given iron pills, if so were you given a reason for having  aneamia, but that would cause your symptoms also, and it does take quite a while for iron pills to build up your iron levels, weeks or months, it can also affect vision, have you to have another blood test to see if aneamia,s improved, or how much,  If you can manage it l think its better to sit in a chair with a cover if you feel cold, as aneamia can cause,  rather than in bed, even if you drop off to sleep in it when needed, being in bed feeling so bad can increase anxiety depression, isolating and can make you feel worse.

But understand when feeling at your worst how it can affect, more so if youve young kids, l had bad health for a time when my sons were little and it does make you feel bad for them and as a mum, but you cant help how your affected, and you and your girls think of when your feeling better.  l hope you find cause of symptoms soon, best wishes

Hi Lynne, thanks for messaging me,I had a few blood tests before it eventually came back with anemia so got a 6 week course of iron pills,Dr didn't mention about going back to check on anaemia after pills but that's a good idea thank you,my immune system is so low right now I've started eating loads of fruit and vedge and my family have been making fresh healthy meals also drinking lots of water, no change yet but hoping it will all help,I'm only 32 and feel so frail right now.I hope you are feeling well soon,I have previously suffered with hip and back problems and I know how you feel I kept feeling tired with it but physio fixed me luckily, just need luck with my dizziness, take care x

l think many with various health symptoms have allergic immune probs, lve had them a long time, but manageable, now more difficult, re allergies.  l,d had gastritus and nausea for a few months, now more settled, but did lose 2stone with it and went off milk eggs cheese along with ready meals, tinned foods, eating small plain healthier foods, but l think maybe the nails breaking and really short are due to calcium loss, doc mentioned vit d, mild calcification.  l know about taking calcium and do take supplaments, all takes time to work,  but as you know the tiredness is a drag as with pain, hoping physio can help with that, then see what test results show. l had bouts of aneami years ago, l sound like lve had everything, just greedy, but all often down to one cause, for me inflammation of bladder and heavy menustration, that part solved with hystectomy, and bladder prob with meds, but do remember it takes a while to get on top with aneamia, but near always a reason for it, heavy menustration common reason.  l took so many ferrous sulphate l couldnt tolerate them anymore, made me feel sick, so had blood injections for  while, but its a slow process getting iron back to normal, so it might be still affecting you. But if youve not been checked for ear problems its worth asking doc, labrinthitus can literally make you lose balance and fall over, vertigo also.  Not much fun when your young, bad enough when you get older, but good youve a family who are supporting you. good luck with all.

Sounds like youve really bad allergy problems, all part of immune system, my own isnt brilliant, though others worse,  Not same probs as you on waking, just really tired with pelvic pain, so not best of days, l think external envoiramental allergens are worse some days that others, and that can affect also. l,m also looking to build up calcium, the tabs are terrible to swallow,  Just a on going battle, waitng to see if tests show any probs, and physio helps.  Well, hope we all find solution and improve, we live in hope.

    Hi Lisa,

Just wondering have you been given cfs/me as a cause for your symptoms? The feeling of having a cold and pressure in head have been my symptoms sometimes.

I go along with the others suggestions of labyrinthitis could be a cause re the dizziness but, maybe due to other things so don't give up re asking the doctor for any tests you think you need. The breathlessness is something a friend of mine with cfs/me (and recently told an iron deficiency) also has.

I know its hard to be ill when you're a mum, I find that bit of all this really hard, but, rest as much as you can and try to do less.

    Hope this helps
