Dizzy and nauseous seeing my own blood and flesh

There was a lot of blood going on and I managed to wrap my hand around two towels and go downstairs where my partner was so she could help out. As soon as I realised what happened which is only a few minutes later with the adrenalin kicking , I started getting really dizzy and I had to lay down on the tiles. I felt really hot and felt like I was about to pass out but I didn't. After that I became better. Few hours later time to re-clean the wound, and I soon as I saw my flesh opened I started to feel dizzy again and light headed and had to lay down. 1 day later I had to go to the doctor to get it checked out and same thing happened again. I have broken many bones before and never felt that way. I have a feeling that thinking about my own organs or flesh having a problem is what is making me overthink and gets me dizzy ? Is it something that everyone experiences when cutting themselves ?

You are obviously USA as we don't condone the pastime of hunting animals, that's a reaction to be stabbed, I'm sure you have seen animals go down after injury but not death, it's the body in shock, not nice

Your dizziness sounds like a fairly normal response to me.  First you automatically took action to stop the bleeding.  Second you went for help.  Only then did you realize that this could be serious and laid down.  That seems a normal response to shock.  I'm glad that you did go to see your doctor for any other needed attention.  I also would guess that you were in the US and I would hope that your fishing and hunting was a source of fresh food and not just a sport or pastime.  I would not consider nor condone the killing of a fox by a pack of dogs as sport.  Nor do I condone the brain damage inflicted on US football players all for sport.  Oh my, I seem to have gotten out of hand, so sorry.  I hope that you are healing well from your knife wound.  Take care.
