Dizzy every day...

Hi ladies

Does any of you feel dizzy every day?

I do!

It is not like the world is spinning. It is more like walking in a cloud or something if that makes sense?

It is worsening when I move my head too fast and sometimes when I sit up in bed in the morning.

I suffer from anxiety as a peri-symptom and it get worse with the dizziness...

Any advice?

    Hi there

i feel it everyday like im going to fast for my eyes ( sounds weird ) and like you say walking on a cloud. I find if i stand for a while i feel i will fall forwards. unfortunately i found that peri brought on my anxiety and it just makes anything you already have intensify. Sorry i have no quick cure but just wanted you to know your not alone in this a lot of the ladies on this site are just the same. Try not to worry it makes it worse.

sending you a comforting hug x

it sounds so familiar. daily dizziness. Nothing is spinning. Weird, distant, cloud, fuzzy, may be lightheaded, some time free drop feeling in the head. ..... difficult to describe. some days more other days less. It is so hard to handle. the anxiety and dizziness make each other worse. have you tried too see neurologist? It is migraine related? did they recommend SSRI meds? I heard some SSRI help dizziness. for some people.

Hi yes migraines / vertigo is a symptom of perimenopause and unfortunately I have it bad as well.. the dizziness can be everyday one way or another and other days it can keep me absolutely grounded.. not fun at all, the dizziness always leads up to the awful migraine attack which I'm so tired of those.. if it was just the dizzies I think I could handle it better , but when all the extras come with it then I'm dine ha ha.. if only we could say I'm done stop it I don't want this symptom anymore.. but one thing I can say knick on wood is I don't have the spinning part of this .. my mother had that it was awful and she never put that together with her menopause but I do for her now looking back.. she would take I think it was called meclozine I heard benadryl helps too.. simetimes I could be in my kitchen preparing something next to sink and turn to right grab something fast from refrigerator and keep turning right to grab something from cabinet and keep turning in same path back to what I was preparing next to sink and that turning motion will feel like I'm still turning when ive stopped.. or just walking normal I can feel like head is tilted one way but is straight, I use my shopping cart for balance I would t dare walk without it in the stores.. yes this is one symptom I have bad with my perimenopause...
