Dizzy nausea vomiting - could this be withdrawals

Posted , 2 users are following.

I started on 300 mg/day for chronic bladder pain.  when i reduced it very slowly, over 5 months i became dizzy.

I have been on 200 mg  per day now for about 4 months and trying to reduce it by 100 mg per week (one month at a time).  so to be clear, every day of the week i take 200 mg, excpet one day when i take 100mg.  My pain has returned and am experiencing  extreme dizziness, nausea and vomiting.

Could it be this ?

    Yes I believe it’s wotdrawl

I was on 1600 mg total for the day for nueopathy of my feet after neve damage caused by a knee replacement !

I have cut back to 200mg twice a day

I’ve cut down 200 mg at the beginning of each month

Feb1 I will cut down to 200 for a month and then done March 1

What a battle sweats, Nausea, vomiting

I was experiencing memory loss and bad headaches on the gabapentine

So my memory and headaches are better but I’m left with the withdrawal symptoms .

You made need to go to your doctors !

    Good luck

Here’s hoping for a healthier New Year

Hi Robyn, yes I think withdrawal symptoms.  I would taper very slowly to helpfully minimize them. I was on a very low dose for three months and off the med day three now. And still feeling awful, dizziness, loss of balance, uncoordinated, memory loss. I'm typing with two fingers right now. Hope to get better each day. Hang in there and yes, let's look forward to a healthier New Year.
