dizzy spells and nausea 3 months post op thr

Hello

I had 2 hip replacements last year in June and October.

felt great since. started playing golf again walking about 6 miles 3 times a week.

However just the last week had a few dizzy spells and yesterday felt

nausea too. wore off after a couple of hours. In Spain so it is warm here about 18 to 20 degrees so not sure if heat or I am doing too much but was on until now and just 3 months after last hip replacement.

anyone else had this? It has got me a bit worried

    Good morning Maggie,

I am jealous --- it is cold and damp here and I never felt this cold in my life ...

Are you drinking enough? taking fluids to keep yourself hydrated ...

Maybe you are doing too much - are you doing 18 holes?

Remember that Your body is still in healing mode and will be for another couple of months - So a lot of energy is used by your body to repair the damages done - a double  whammy for you (and me) -

I bet you enjoy being out on the green !!!!   just take it down a notch and drink plenty of water ....

if this is not going away, I'd see a doctor to rule out something else

    big warm hug

    Hi Maggie

I agree with everything Renee says and it may be you are doing a bit too much. We are all double hippies and our bodies have been through a lot this last year so you are amazing playing golf after only 3 months and it may just be that you need to rest a bit more.

Try not to worry and enjoy the wonderful warm Spanish weather (jealous much!)
