Dizzy Spells/Vertigo

Posted , 7 users are following.

56 Years old. Haven't had a "real" period in over a year, but spotted in February so started counting again!

Had an episode yesterday of extreme dizziness/vertigo type episode but the scary part was it lasted probably an hour. Also became nauseous during it.

Then when it passed I felt blah and really still do.

Anyone have vertigo/dizziness during peri, and when not getting a period?

Thanks

      Thank you for your reply

When you went to hospital with the vertigo, what did they determine it was.

      Did they treat with something?

Yes, i was diagnosed with BPPV. You can Google to find out what it is. There's no medical concern & no drugs were given. I only had to do some maneuver exercise to get myself well again.

Yes, I have bad dizziness since peri hit me. I just started taking over the counter Dramamime Motion Sickness relief tablets for it. I just ran across it in the store and figured why not. Whatever works. People also, use it for anxiety which I did not know. I had severe anxiety along with the dizziness. All I can say is that for me. The tablets have gradually helped both. I'm also, taking a meno vitapak too but, I feel the Dramamime has been the only option I've tried that has actually helped me pertaining to the dizziness and anxiety. Oh, supposed to help with nausea too! I hope you feel better! xo

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond.

I always had a motion sickness problem, so that is how I felt when the vertigo/dizziness kicked in.

    I will try that.
