DLA

Hiya peeps & also a big welcome to any newbies i've yet to meet .

Hope you are all feeling well ( as well as we can ) :D . Not been on for a bit as had a few bad weeks & have just seen most of the forum has disappeared !

Looking for a bit of advice as i've just had a letter in regards to DLA . It was refused the first time i applied for it so appealed it & now have been sent a very large letter asking if i want to attend the appeal in person or not . Just wondering what is best as i don't think i could cope with questions being fired at me as my head is all over the place these days .

Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

Thanks

Lian

Go to the CAB and ask them to put you in touch with Welfare Rights. They will fight for you and will also send someone to the appeal with you if you want to go.

Get your GP on side as well.

    Good luck. smile

    Hi Lian

Go and talk to your GP tell him about the appeal and see if they will give you a letter of support. Also get in touch with the CAB as they are very supportive.

Teedie you need to start the process in applying for incap know even if you want to be back to work before then. It can take a few weeks to go through the process. Good luck
