I have OA in hips, spine, neck and ankle, osteoporosis, scoliosis, So dont ask me the reason......no doubt someone will be along soon to help you that knows more about it than I do

      Hi Hippy

Juilette says she doesnt think anyone will be comfortable discussing it

If you want answers and some people dont want to discuss it they can pm you if they want to As long as you are happy with that.

Lucky you.  My husband is 6 weeks post op from having his right THR and will have his other done in 3 months.  He's profoundly deaf and has an Essential Tremor in his hands.  At 67 he still works to supplement his meagre pension because he is not entitled to any benefits

    Hi Hippy.

Am sure they will send you another form to fill in, you'll have to let them know of your op.

Am sure there's a question in the form that ask if you had or waiting for any surgery.

Am sure it's now call Personal Independent Payment.

I would wait and see when they get in touch with you.

    They may cut your payment.

    Keep us posted.

If you have long term problem they'll look into that also. it could take over 8 weeks for the to make a decission.

Just wait until they get in touch with you and see what they say.

    Good Luck.
