    Absolutely!

Even something as simple as walking can make a huge difference.

A one-mile walk is just three blocks over then two blocks up, and back again. Do something like that two or three times a day and it makes a world of difference in your blood sugar, and it just helps loosen things up and helps your body restore equilibrium in all sorts of ways. Treat yourself to new walking shoes!

Just walk to the market a few times a week instead of driving, I do that now, too. Just carry one or two things home, it's more for the walk, but it keeps things fresh too!

Yes any form of exercise is great for the mind and body. Walking is good-- free too!! The fresh air is great.

Lately, i have been going to the indoor pool for water class-- being in the water makes me feel 'free' or I do laps with the kickboard in hand.
