Do BV cause burning?

What do all you ladies think. Do BV's cause burning? My doctor seems to think it can. But theres no proof. Have any of you had burning start after a BV is treated? Because I think they follow each other. I get over one and sure enough i start having massive burning. I use Vagikool which really helps. They are gel packs that you freeze and insert into it's own sleeve. T'hen you wear them for as long as its frozen. I love them. My PT recommended them.

Yikes that sounds awful. I get the throbbing and the burning a lot. I try ice packs first, then reach for my pain med if nothing works. I also use cold baths with baking soda, meditation, mindfulness therapy. They all work together to help relax. If your body is tense, your muscles will tighten up too. That makes it worse. Or try a warm bath and just relax in it. Turn on soothing music and soak for awhile. That will relax you. If you have gabapentin try that. The dosages go up higher if you have more pain. Ask your doctor for it AND ask to see a pain specialist! They can really help you. My primary gave me Vicodin as she saw how my body reacted to "exam"... She has always been very kind and knows that I have never exaggerated anything. Best wishes.

I gave my experience in another forum. Like no body had posted in six months. My bv was e coli. Horrible burning! All day all night. Antibiotics worked while I took them then not even 2 days later I was on fire again. I did 2 tablespoons of bleach( I know what you are thinking). I did to but I was DESPERATE . Add to a douche bag full of water. Lay down on your back and fill it up. I.stayed that way for about 3 minutes. I did mine for 3 nights in a row. I did not rinse out at all. I can't tell you everything I had tried the time before. Ordering this buying that . I ate no sugar Blaine yogurt for at least 6 months. I don't know if there is anything I had not tried. I do know one thing (been gone 3 weeks) if it comes back I will do it again. I know everyone says the good bacteria will be gone. Let me tell you they are already gone. That's why the bad bacteria have taken over. No douching people say. I'm sorry but hydrogen peroxide with water is still douching. Anyway I am not a doctor and this has been my experience. I'm only saying what worked for me..
